Michael touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. He was predeceased by: his wife Christine Long; and his daughter Christina Prestegord McCready. He is survived by: his sons, Adam Prestegord (Karen), Gregory Prestegord and William Prestegord; and his grandchildren, Brandi Alejandro (Aidan), Robert Prestegord, Sean Prestegord and Hanya Prestegord. He is also survived by four great- grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Christ Church (20 N American St, Philadelphia, PA 19106).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Christ Church in his honor where Michael was an active member and supporter.
