It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred B. Martin in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, born in Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on June 11, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Janet Brown and Felix Barr (Fred); and her daughters, Mia and Betty (late Anthony). She is survived by: her siblings, Betty, Fred, Maryann, Verlie, Valerie and George; her husband James A. Martin Jr.; and her children, Donna, James, Beverly (Lewis) and Erik (Angelica). She is also survived by siblings, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
