We bid farewell to Nellie A. Davis (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 5, 2025 at the age of 93. Nellie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Grivensky and Nellie Grivensky; her husband Edwin G. Davis Sr.; her former spouse Thomas Shinko; and her daughter Theresa Skiendzielewski (late Bill McNamara).
She is survived by: her children, Carol Coney (late Patrick Coney), Edwin G. Davis Jr. and Stephen T. Davis (Angelina); her grandchildren, Lorraine Stieber (Thomas Stieber), Thomas Skiendzielewski (Kaitlin Murphy), Kelly Coney, Caitlin Coney, Ollie Davis and Miles Davis; and her great grandchildren, Eleanor and Francine Skiendzielewski.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Martha Church (11300 Academy Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19154). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
