He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmen Volio and Theresa Volio (Bocchino); his grandson Bernard McSorely; his siblings, Mary Smack, Michael Volio, Theresa Sciortino, Josephine Raimondo and Joseph Volio; and his brother-in-law Edwin Schwarz.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Volio (Schwarz); his children, Peter Volio, Jr., Carol Volio and Virginia Volio; his grandchildren, Robert Volio, Kathryn Harkins (Sean), Brooke Kozikowski (Chester), William Lyons and Brittney Gommer (Jason); his great grandchildren, Chester, Eloise, Addison, Makenna, Margaux and Jason; his siblings, Carmen Volio (Phyllis), Robert Volio and Rochelle Pascale; and his in-laws, Barbara Staunton (Thomas) and Linda McGurk (Francis). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
