In loving memory of Richard J. White (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), who departed this world on September 10, 2025 at the age of 80. Richard leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward White and Pauline White; and his siblings, Edward White (Kathleen), Lawrence White (late Marianne) and Jacqueline White (late Ken).
He is survived by: his wife Susan; his brother William White (late Terri); and his sister-in-law Joyce Osik (late Robert). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many lifelong friends.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Burns Funeral Home (9708 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19114). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Katherine of Siena Church (9700 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19114). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery (830 Highland Rd, Newtown, PA 18940).
