In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Rita had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Rita may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, Robert and Anderson; and her siblings, Harry, Johnnie, Joseph, Houston and Eva.
She is survived by: her children, Guy Hopkins (Oksana) and Nova Frank (Lenny); and her sisters, Carmella (late Joseph), Sherry (late John) and Angie (Tom). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Viewing will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Slabinski Sucharski Funeral Home (2614 Orthodox St, Philadelphia, PA 19137). A burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Hillside Cemetery (2556 Susquehanna Rd, Roslyn, PA 19001).
