She was predeceased by: her parents, John Pizzo and Jennie Pizzo; her husband Anthony "Tony" Marino; and her siblings, Anthony Pizzo, Louise Giannoni, Samuel Pizzo, Joseph Pizzo, Betsy Rosselli, James Pizzo, Peter Pizzo, Jean Kimble, Anna Webb, Catherine Rodia and Mary Serody.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Adams (late Pete), Denise Marino, Frank Marino and Gino Marino (Donna). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren, her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Murphy Ruffenach Brian W. Donnelly Funeral Home (2239 S 3rd St, Philadelphia, PA 19148). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Rita's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
