He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Gabbard and Margaret Gabbard; his daughter Crystal Gabbard; and his sisters, Debra Lichter (Gabbard) and Margaret Mckelvey (Gabbard).
He is survived by: his children, Marie King (Gabbard), Victoria Jackson (Gabbard) and Robert Gabbard Jr.; and his siblings, Linda Vadden (Gabbard), Patricia Delia (Casey), Donna Casey and George Gabbard. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
