He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gavin and Miriam Gavin; his brother William Gavin (Veronica); his stepson Michael Aman; his son-in-law Garvin "Mac" McNeill; and his granddaughter Skylar McNeill.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Gavin; his children, Jennifer McNeill (late Garvin) and Jeffrey Gavin; his stepdaughter Karin Gairo (John); and his brothers, Edward Gavin (Genevieve) and John Gavin (Monica). He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren.
