He was predeceased by: his sister Barbara Stewart; and his parents, Kenneth E. Shoemaker and Doris M. Shoemaker. He is survived by: his sister Elizabeth "Betty" Thompson (Dello Buono); and his nephew Dylan Dello Buono.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Louis A. DiGiacomo Funeral Home, Inc. (1055 Southampton Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19116). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Christopher Church (13301 Proctor Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19116). A burial will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at the Forest Hills Cemetery (101 Byberry Rd, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made "In memory of Robert F. Shoemaker 70", to the Northeast Catholic Alumni Memorial Scholarship Fund.
