She was predeceased by: her parents, Barbara Carmichael and Ian L. Carmichael, Sr.; her brother Ian L. Carmichael Jr.; and her brother-in-law Robert Barkett. She is survived by: her sister Susan Barkett; her niece Barbara Donehue (Ross); her nephews, Matthew Barkett (Meghan) and Samuel Carmichael (Rebecca); her great-niece Claire Barkett; her great-nephews, Mason Barkett, Samuel and Robert Carmichael; Donna Harrington.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Philadelphia Orchestra.
