In the sacred silence of farewell, Sonia is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Sonia's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Charles Bemak; her children, Luisito Quintana (Alejandra), Desiree Harrity (Steven), Michael Bemak (Trish) and Selena Austin (Jimmy); and her grandchildren, Ayana, Emmy, Anaise, Evoni, Sebastian, Leo and Arthur. She was also cherished by seven brothers and sisters as well as many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church (5450 E Roosevelt Blvd, Philadelphia, PA 19124). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
