He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Welsh Marakowski (Mackey); and his parents, Michael Marakowski and Helen Marakowski (Dymicki). He is survived by: his children, Michele Keating (Sean), Ted Marakowski Jr. and Laura Przystawski (Brian); his stepchildren, John "Jack" Welsh (Carol), Michael Welsh (Kristine) and Thomas Welsh; his grandchildren, Alexandra Nicolai (James), Jacquelyn "Jax" Nemitz (Shawn Hale), Colleen Keating, Katryn Keating, Michael John Welsh and Jacqueline Birdsall (Daniel); his great grandchild Noa Mae Birdsall; and his siblings, Alice Girardi (late John) and Michael Marakowski (Jean). He is also survived by nephews, as well as his close friends.
