We are sad to announce that on October 10, 2025, Thomas J. Murphy Jr. of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Anita Murphy; his children, Thomas M. Murphy (Robin), Lisa Martin and Andrea Ischinger (William); his grandchildren, John (Alexis), Alexander, Abigail, Madeline and Erin; and his siblings, Lorraine Reeves (late Henry) and Patrick Murphy (Linda). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Anselm's RC Church (12670 Dunks Ferry Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19154). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Thomas's memory to support Rett Syndrome, a cause that held special meaning for him.
