He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Hartman and Dorothy Hartman of Philadelphia; his wife Henrietta; his son-in-law John J. Essaf; and his brother-in-law Jim.
He is survived by: his children, Rita A. Essaf (John) and Thomas W. Hartman (Ann Marie Byrnes); his sister Dorothy Connors (James); his niece Judy Derek; and his close friend Mary Jane Klecko.
