He is survived by: his wife Joann White (Bennett); his sons, William "BJ" White, Jr. and John "Jay" Thompkins (Pamela); his daughters-in-law, Pamela Thompkins and AnNette Hines; his godson Kenneth Lassiter, Sr.; and his siblings-in-law, John Beckett, Thomas Bennett (Freda), Rosalind Vincent (Solomon) and Carol Bennett. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
