He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Gardner and Sheila Margaret Jacqueline "Jackie" Gardner (Hunt). He is survived by: his sons, Scott A. Gardner (Starina) of Alexandria and John D. "J. D." Gardner (Jill) of Altoona; his grandchildren, Bethany Gardner (James Miller), Trevor Gardner, Brittany Gardner and Devon Gardner (Chelsey Diehl); his great grandchildren, Riley, Carson Gardner, Camden, Elijah Miller and Maverick Gardner; and his sister Pam Robinson of Duncansville.
