He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon V. Dixon and June A. Dixon (Graham); and his niece Elishia J. Holsinger (Baney). He is survived by: his sisters, Shelly D. Crain (Max J. Crain, Sr.), Philipsburg and Bernice R. Baney (Pastor Michael Baney) of Hawk Run. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
