She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Duck and Luella Duck (Lucas); her husband Roy V. Parko; and her siblings, Nira Williams and Eugene "Sonny" Duck.

She is survived by: her children, Catherine Hayes (Joseph) of Chester Hill, Jeffery Parko (Robin) of Lafayette and Robin Parko (Ray Beam) of Pleasant Gap; her grandsons, Thomas Hayes (Stephanie) and Scott Hayes (Patience Parnich); and her siblings, Fonda Duck Walls (Fred) of Lafayette, Colorado and Jerome "Butch" Duck (Gretchen) of Boalsburg. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, Maxine requested memorial contributions to be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, PO Box 465, Philipsburg, PA 16866.
