He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Slother and Annie Slother (Tekely); his wife Dorothy Mae Hilderbrand; and his siblings, Frank, Alex, Charles Slother, Margaret Kundla, Katherine Dipko and Ramona Selfridge.
He is survived by: his son William J. Slother Jr. (Caroline) of Hawk Run, PA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
