He was predeceased by: his wife Dolores A. (Zeleski) of Phoenixville, PA; his parents, John Coccia and Rose Coccia (Cutillo); his daughters, Sherry Bucelli and Lorrie Balentine; and his siblings, Anthony Coccia, Peter Coccia, John Coccia, Jr., Eugene Coccia, Josephine Ricci, Nancy Pannella, Anne Fiorvanti, Rose Fillippo and Joan Heim.

He is survived by: his daughter Deborah (late Frank Wetty).
