She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Duffy and Iona Duffy Smith (Singley); her husband Clarence "Buddy" Benko; her stepfather Philip L. Smith; her brothers, Attorney Eugene Duffy and Gerald Duffy; and her nephews, Gerald Duffy and Scott Shenyo.
She is survived by: her children, Charmaine Becker (Dan) of Pine Grove, Jeffrey Benko (Vicky) of Berwick and Yvonne Herring (Mark) of New Ringgold; her grandchildren, Daniel Becker, Jr., Laura Lee Hughes, Erica Benko and Michael Herring; her great grandchildren, Tyler, Dylan, Isabella, Kylie, Emmett, Giuliana and Wyatt; and her sister Jane Ann Salnicky of Whitehall.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Peters Lutheran Church (312 S Tulpehocken St, Pine Grove, PA 17963). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church (312 S Tulpehocken St, Pine Grove, PA 17963).
Flowers are welcome and Elaine would also like contributions in her memory be made to her church, St. Peter's Lutheran Church for the General Fund, 312 S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove, PA 17963.
