He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Zimmerman and Ada Stein Zimmerman; and his siblings, Dorothy, Gloria Zimmerman, Franklin, Marlin "Pete" and Paul Zimmerman.
He is survived by: his wife Faye L. Boyer Zimmerman; his sons, Kevin Zimmerman of Pine Grove, Troy Zimmerman of Pine Grove and Corey Zimmerman of Pine Grove; his grandchildren, Tobie Zimmerman, Rachael Smith, Emily Zimmerman and Ava Zimmerman; and his great grandchild Lucian Shiffer. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
