He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Schaeffer and Anna Bradigan Schaeffer; his wife Catherine "Honey" Schaeffer; his daughter Sheree Schaeffer Minnich; and his brother Claude.
He is survived by: his daughter Cheryl Heffner (Leo); his grandchildren, Cody, Jesse, Samantha Schaeffer, Shane and Justin Minnich; and his great grandchildren, Chase, Victoria, Isabella, Matix, Dylan and Hudson.
Viewing was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Grabowski Funeral Home (75 Memorial Dr, Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at the Schuylkill Memorial Park (75 Memorial Dr, Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972).
