With solemn reverence, we commemorate Philip Burris of Pine Grove, Pennsylvania, born in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, whose life came to an end on August 29, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence K. and Mary O. Burris (Plozner); his significant other Jacqueline "Jackie" Brooks; and his stepchildren, Paul Brooks, Jr. of Philadelphia and Sharon Shuey of Bellefonte.

He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Royer (Bobby) of Warriors Mark and Amy Wilson (Ed) of State College; his stepchildren, David Brooks (Julie) of Midlothian, Debra Brooks (Fred Volpe) of Fort Pierce and Diane Brooks of Bellefonte; his grandchildren, Alex Banerjee, Megan Royer-Cole (Adam), Blake Wilson, Nick Banerjee, Rebecca Royer and Grace Royer; his stepgrandchildren, Heather Sims, Brad Shuey, Ryan Volpe, Andrew Brooks, Matt Brooks, Shaina Daugherty and Nicole Daugherty; his great grandchild Cooper Cole; his sister Beverly Davidson of Bellefonte; his nephew Doug Wagner; and his niece Kris Woodward. He is also survived by nine step-great-grandchildren.
