He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Sr. Herring and Dorothy I. Neidlinger Herring. He is survived by: his children, Ryan Herring of Pine Grove, Ashley Herring of Freeland and Amanda (Devan Stortz) of Pine Grove; his grandson John Stortz; and his brothers, William C. Herring, Jr. of Schuylkill Haven, Jeffrey Herring of Schuylkill Haven and Michael Herring of Minnesota. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., 139 S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove, PA 17963 to help with expenses.
