Virginia Witherow Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia Witherow of Pine Grove, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 7, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Virginia Witherow to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert L. Haney and Julia Lyden Haney; and her siblings, Agnes Naugle, Charles, Thomas and Kenneth Haney.
She is survived by: her husband Vincent; her children, Jacqueline Boughter of Lebanon, Jean (David Degler) of Reading, James (Linda Witherow) of Pine Grove, Joseph (Donna Witherow) of Pine Grove, Jeffrey (Frances Witherow) of Pine Grove and Jerry (Missy Witherow) of Pine Grove; and her sisters, Roberta Vasbinder of Sidman, PA and Rosemary Zimmerman of Minnesota. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Snyder Funeral Home (139 S Tulpehocken St, Pine Grove, PA 17963). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Most Blessed Trinity Parish (113 Cherry St, Tremont, PA 17981).
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the Most Blessed Trinity Parish, 113 Cherry St., Tremont, PA 17981 in her memory.
