He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis "Frank" FitzSimons and Ursula Donnelly FitzSimons; his wife Ann Lawler FitzSimons; his son Stephen J. FitzSimons; and his siblings, John "Jack" FitzSimons, Joan Passwaters, Frances Fitzpatrick and Rita Patricia McGuinness.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Erica FitzSimons; and his stepgrandson Joel Curry of Pine Grove. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc, 139 S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove, PA 17963 in his memory.
