She was predeceased by : her parents, Constantino Battista and Josephine Battista (Napoli); and her brother Aruther "Butch" Battista. She is survived by : her husband Samuel Douglas Shearer; her brother Robert A. Battista; and her sons, Thomas Shearer (Rose) and Douglas A. Shearer. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
