He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio F. Mendicino and Anna Mendicino (Costanzo); his wife Judy Mendicino; and his daughter Laura Jeffery. He is survived by: his children, Anthony Mendicino (Tony) and Lynn Jeffery; his grandchildren, Reanna Jeffery (Chris Swan), Sara Campbell and Gianna Mendicino; his sister Betty Logan (Skip); his grandchildren, Veda, Luca, Isla, Christopher and Collin; his goddaughter Krista Mignogna (Richard); and his nephews, Dr. David Logan (Rachel) and Sean Logan (Shannon).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Alfieri Funeral Home Inc. (201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, PA 15148). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Bernadette Roman Catholic Church (245 Azalea Dr, Monroeville, PA 15146).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made for a Catholic mass intention at a parish of your choice in Fred's memory.
