He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Bretton and Ella Bretton of Elwood City, PA; and his sister Norma Dubrow. He is survived by: his sister Dana Colsky; his wife Gerda Stein of Pittsburgh; his children, Pamela Bretton Pearlman (Seth), Rachel Lynne Pavilack (Stuart), Jeffrey Bretton, Brian Bretton and Philip Michael Bretton; his grandchildren, Isaac (Laura), Julian, Jacob, Eli, Nathan and Anna; and his great grandchild Andrew.
