With sadness, we share the passing of Albert E. Thein (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania). Albert, born on October 26, 1931, passed away on September 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mildred Thein; his son Albert J. Thein; and his granddaughter Jennifer Thein. He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Adair (James) and Daniel A. Thein; his grandchildren, Jessica Moeller (Ben), Dillon Thein and Brandon Thein; and his great grandchildren, Jason, Isabella, Aryanna and Alexandra. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schellhaas Funeral Home & Cremation (388 Center Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15229). A burial will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Mary Cemetery (4000 Mt Troy Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15214).
