Alice R. Diven Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alice R. Diven (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 15, 2025 at the age of 96. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alice R. Diven to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Major Daniel Charles Diven; her siblings, Jack, Bobby, Richie, Charlie and Mary; and her grandson Mitchell.
She is survived by: her children, Georgianne (late Richard), Patricia (Russell), Barbara (late Peter), Christopher, Theresa (Max), Mark (Beth), Mary (Ronald), Patrick (Kelly) and Alice (Todd); and her grandchildren, Danny, Christopher, Brian, Jesse, Stephanie, Amanda, Tara, Michael, Lauren, Patrick, Ian, Alex, Eric, Sam, Rick, Mark, Sean, Matthew, Jeremy, Nic, Shane and Adam. She is also survived by her 22 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the William Slater II Funeral Service (1650 Greentree Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15220). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Pius X Church (3040 Pioneer Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15226).
