She was predeceased by: her husband Edward J. Kappel; and her siblings, Marjorie Kappel, Veronica Bush, Coletta Kunig, Marion Staley, Irene Lowther, Patricia Genday and Audrey Staley. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A Mass will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Michael the Archangel Parish - St. Bernard (311 Washington Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15216).
