With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ann A. Bench (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), who passed away on July 2, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Mary Lou Natale, Frances Artman, Judith Sunseri, Edward, Thomas, George, William and Robert Sherwin.
She is survived by: her husband J. T. Bench; her son Ronald Bench (Donna Marie) of Erie; her grandsons, Kevin (Jyotsna) and Brandon Bench (Carie); her brother Paul Sherwin (Pat); and her sisters-in-law, Marie Sherwin, Claudia Lang, Claire Breisinger and Mary Ann Bench. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc. (4201 Brownsville Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15227). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Blessed Trinity Parish (3198 Schieck St, Pittsburgh, PA 15227).
