She is survived by: her son John Thorpe (Parima Pandkhou); and her grandchildren, Lili Thorpe and Henry Thorpe.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra or the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh.
