Bernard Hilterman Obituary
We bid farewell to Bernard Hilterman of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 6, 2025 at the age of 90. Bernard touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Hilterman and Bernard Hilterman; and his spouse Gretta Carlson. He is survived by: his brother Bob Hilterman; his daughters, Deborah Hanna (Mike), Karen Ponko, Christine Auker (Scott) and Dianna Rowley; his grandchildren, Bernie Ponko (Maura), Patrick Ponko, Katherine Hanna (Alex) and Natalie Hanna; and his great grandchildren, Gretta and John Ponko.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM.
