She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginia Bauer and Edwin Bauer; her husband Alfred E. Thomson III; her son Darren D. Thomson; and her grandson Connor.

She is survived by: her siblings, Arthur Bauer, Dale Bauer (Joann) and Phillip Bauer (Jackie); her boyfriend Donald Lampus Sr.; her sons, Alfred E. Thomson IV (Kelli Thomson) and David E. Thomson; and her grandchildren, Zachary, Aidan, Gavin, Keegan and Sterling.
