Bridget left this world on October 15, 2025 at the age of 100, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She is survived by: her husband John "Jack" McDonnell of Clancy's Tavern; her children, John Silverman (Judy), Annette Santora and Sheila McDonnell; her grandchildren, Aaron Silverman (Casey), Angela Quaglieri (Dennis), Jill Pampena (Brian), Ashleigh Liscotti (Michael) and Caitlin McDonnell; her great grandchildren, Allison, Kelsey and Amber Silverman; and her grandchildren, Maura, Ben, Luke Quaglieri, Brian, Mia, Dylan Pampena, Ava and Aubree Liscotti.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thomas L. Nied Funeral Home (7441 Washington Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15218). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anselm Church (7446 McClure Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15218).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, in honor of Babe's generous spirit and love of community.
