He was predeceased by: his wife Jeanette Swanson; his child Glenn; and his sister Joyce Engelhard. He is survived by: his children, Lori Putnam (Richard) and Gary Swanson; and his nieces and nephews, Leslie Engelhard, Lisa Sevcik, Caroline Clay, David Paton and Bob Paton.
