He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Ellis and Sarah Perkins. He is survived by: his wife Nedra L. Perkins (Bartko); his son Stephen Perkins; his grandchildren, Shi-ann and Samir; and his siblings, Roswell Perkins and Celeste Perkins. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
