Carol L. Cernetic Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol L. Cernetic (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 9, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Carol's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Carol has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Llewellyn and Florence Jackson Giddings. She is survived by: her husband Albert F. Cernetic; her daughter Patti Householder (Rick) of Charlotte, NC; her grandchildren, Austin Householder of Elizabeth City, NC and Shayne Householder of Maiden, NC; and her brother Carl Gidding, Jr..
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Carol's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, her favorite charity, or to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306.
