She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Kern and Dorothy Kern; her daughter Tracy Elizabeth Pettit; and her brother Richard Kern. She is survived by: her husband Darrell Lloyd Swansbra; her children, Kimberly Pettit Kiang and Brian Deloss Pettit; her brothers, Herbert Kern (Rose) and Kenneth Kern (Dodie); her sister-in-law Judy; and her caregiver Richard Peterson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
