Catherine Alberta Hester Obituary
We announce the death of Catherine Alberta Hester (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), who passed away on August 15, 2026, at the age of 82. Catherine will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Rogers and Alberta Rogers; her husband Robert W. Hester; and her son-in-law Christopher Martin. She is survived by: her children, Robert Hester (Kimberly), Thomas Hester (Kristine), Dennis Hester and Donald Hester (Patricia); her granddaughters, Amanda Manganello (Patrick), Kaitlyn Parente (Josh), Corrine Flaherty (James) and Julia; and her great grandchildren, Julia, Connor, Aubrielle, Brooklynn, Maelynn and Carlo.
In accordance with Catherine's wishes, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the United Cerebral Palsy Association 8401 Old Courthouse Road Vienna, VA 22182, a cause close to her heart.
