We announce the death of Cecil Lander in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 9, 2026, at the age of 91. Cecil will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parent Diane Lander; his sister Reva Lander; his uncle Maurice Green; his aunt Millie Levy (Bert); his grandparents, Sam and Leah Green; and his great grandchild Livvy.
He is survived by: his wife Esther; his children, David Lander and Sharon Helden (Chuck); his grandchildren, Sarah Helden (Christian) and Max Helden (Erin); his great grandchildren, Ava Brooke and Cooper Levi; and his brothers, Lawrence "Lawrie" Lander (Honey) and Phil Lander (Jodi).
A graveside service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Rose Hill Burial Park (3653 W Market St, Akron, OH 44333). For information about Shiva, please contact the family.
