We are sad to announce that on November 30, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Claire Hope Itzkovitz Reingold (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), born in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Vernon Reingold; her children, Beth Gluck (Richard), Bruce Reingold (Rony), Susan Reingold and Michael Reingold; her great grandchild Levi Gluck; her brother Stuart Itzkovitz (late Esther); her parents, Sara Itzkovitz (Selkovits) and David Itzkovitz; her sister-in-law Benita Bunny Morris; and her sibling's children, Stacey Raskin, Burton Morris, Amy Itzkovitz and Daniel Itzkovitz.

“In 1956 I attended a summer camp called Laurel Y run by the then YM&WHA (now the JCC). Claire Reingold was the nurse at the camp. I was 9 years old at the time. I was involved in a knifing accident whereby a large hunting knife was thrown that pierced my left leg, severing the main artery. Claire applied a tourniquet that saved my life. I've thought about her through the years and am sorry that I was not able to personally thank her. Your Mother was my hero. Ricki Shore”
