He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon L. Swindle and Mattie F. Bray (Swindle); his granddaughter Maurlaya Faith Thomas; and his siblings, Athens Abdul Rabb, Haywood James Swindle and Evelyn Joyce Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Minnie Mae Swindle (Murphy); his children, Talitha Swindle of Braddock, PA, Tanisha Rae Swindle-Thomas of Pittsburgh, PA and Taji Lamar Clarence Swindle of Duluth, GA; his grandchildren, Ajaylah Mae Lee Thompkins, Tahja Azhani Swindle, Aysaiah Marie Thomas, Talib Nasir Bracey, Talia Hope Swindle and Tia Faith Swindle; his great grandchild Chanie Lee Rae Platt; and his sisters, Barbara A. Still (DeWayne), Marian J. Swindle and Lillie A. Swindle of McKeesport. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
