He was predeceased by: his parents, Shedrah Holmes and Lynell Evans. He is survived by: his wife Myrna Holmes (Malone); his children, Courtney Holmes of Raleigh and Jordan Holmes (Slater Long) of Lansing, Michigan; his sister Cynthia Martin; his nephew Christian Walker of Farrell, Pennsylvania; and his aunts, Eloise Bennett, Jewely Barnes and Carolyn Wager-Felix of Massachusetts. He is also survived by niece, great nephews, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, and a host of cousins, teammates (brothers), as well as dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ruth AME Zion Church (95 W Connelly Blvd, Sharon, PA 16146). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ruth A. M. E. Zion Church (95 W Connelly Blvd, Sharon, PA 16146).
