He was predeceased by: his wife Marie M. Emmerich; and his brothers, Norm, Harry and Kenny Emmerich. He is survived by: his children, Karen Bender (John), Kathleen, Kenneth, Maureen Yvorra (Joe), Denise Sauter (Donald), Megan and Joe Yvorra; and his siblings, Rege and Joe Emmerich. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
