With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel W. Hixson of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, born in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 5, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Hixson and Mary Hixson (Reed); and his former wife Kathryne Hixson. He is survived by: his daughters, Traci Synan (Kevin) and Tammi Kovacs (Richard); and his grandchildren, Matthew Szekely (Marta), North, Ivy (Ruby) and Matt Walling. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
